Biography
In my younger years, I was able to dabble in various musical forms. From the recorder to children's and youth choirs to electronic keyboard instruments (home organ/keyboard/synthesizer), I had a wide range of experiences.
Making music with the synthesizer, however, particularly impressed me, and I've stuck with it ever since.
From the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, I played keyboards in several youth bands. I wrote a few songs back then, which we then recorded musically and vocally with the respective bands. During this time, I met many great and musically talented people. But starting in 1996, my interests changed, and I slowly gave up on music.
The years went by, and I also had some unpleasant health issues, but I only gave up hope briefly. After this life-changing experience, I began to focus more on the positive things in my life. Music is one of them.
My interest in music has never left me throughout my life, so I dug out my old, dusty synthesizers and started making music again, just for myself. Over the years, I repeatedly bought inexpensive music software (DAW) that allowed me to play around with free samples and virtual instruments.
During this time, my first two cats also moved in with me.
In 2023, I met the drummer of an active punk band. Through him, I received the energy boost that made me more active in music again. And the feedback from my friends encouraged me to publish some of my pieces on the Soundcloud platform. Anyone interested can listen to my music there since December 2024 and also provide their feedback.
Musically, I am influenced by the music of my youth in the 80s.
My music has been strongly influenced by musicians such as Jean Michelle Jarre, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and Anne Clark. The "acid" wave also continues to influence me today. Currently, I'm musically active in the trance and techno genres, or in short, "the electronic music genre," which combines a variety of different styles.
In my music, I try to combine the electronic sounds of the 1980s with the modern and contemporary trance sounds of today. I sometimes succeed more or less successfully.
